By the Seashore

I have always been mesmerized by the ambience near the sea...and love to spend my vacations in coastal places.
Unfortunately there is no beach in hyderabad :(
It gives me immense pleasure sitting on the seashore and observing the conversations of nature.
And watching the sun rise and the sun finally hiding behind the sea at the end of the day is also beautiful!!
I have written this poem in december ' 06 during one of my trips to Goa and the different beaches on the karnataka coastal lines.
By the Seashore

As I walk on the seashore,
beautiful feelings i explore.
Leaving my footprints behind,
I turn back to see, not a single i find.
The waves vanishing my footprints,
No idea at what it hints.
I want to create an identity,
but the waves dont understand my necessity.
I am here,past forgotten,future unclear.

I sit on the carpet of golden sand,
cool breeze fondling my hair and hand.
Moist air and sound of waves,
tensions and sorrows it shaves.
The waves trying to come near me,
each time it tries harder to touch me.
My only companion in this lonely moment,
trying to feel me after my consent.
I am here,past forgotten,future unclear.

I close my eyes, calm and composed,
to the nature have all my feelings disclosed.
Touched and felt by the moist breeze,
have made all my worries decrease.
Enchanted by the hollow sound of the waves,
for such peace, my mind always craves.
I am here,past forgotten,future unclear.

I open my eyes,to see a world so pure,
this moment is enough for sorrows cure.
The blue ocean ripples to the extent of my sight,
where the sky and the sea unite.
This scenic beauty is truly a delight,
making my heart serene and light.
I am here,past forgotten,future unclear.

I have experienced a moment of spellbound,
peace and content is what i have found.
My wounded heart has now been healed,
pains and sorrows have been sealed.
Forget the past,the future unseen,
Enjoy the present is what i mean!

Very nice poem.I dont know what to say more.
on second thought....
You can go to Hussain-Sagar anytime anyday. If u want the-beach-feel just jump across the railing you find nice & "scentfully lovely" sand plus the litter (dont mind the the arresting aroma).

@previous comment
"Arresting aroma" LOL!!
But yeah, theres nothing else like the seashore!
But I dont understand whether you like the presence of the waves or not. Like is it a metaphor for something?
Pretty philosophical, but then again very beautiful!
